New Gates

Sample entry: this shows the kind of garage door or gate job we handle. The photo and details are illustrative, not a record of a specific customer job.
A rotting wooden driveway gate was replaced with a new wood-and-steel swing gate on a steel frame, built to accept an operator later.
The problem
The old wooden gate had sagged so far that it dragged on the driveway and could no longer latch. The posts were sound, but the frame had rotted at the joints. The owners wanted something sturdier that could take an opener in a later phase.
What we did
- Measured the opening and checked the posts and driveway slope
- Removed the old gate leaves and hardware
- Hung new wood-clad steel-frame leaves on heavy-duty hinges with a drop rod and latch
- Left the frame prepared for future operator mounting brackets
The result
The new gate swings clear of the driveway and latches with one hand. The steel frame keeps the leaves square, and the layout leaves room to add an operator without rebuilding the gate.
